Music Concierge is an award-winning, global music consultancy service for luxury brands, high-end retail, leading restaurants, bars, member clubs, boutique hotels, spas and other sophisticated branded environments.

The company’s creative team supervises the signature sound of its clients, designing and managing music playlists which are distributed via broadband using our parent company’s hardware and technical infrastructure.

We design and supply high quality bespoke playlists to individual destination sites, or to groups with 15, 30, 60 or more sites. We provide music across the globe to businesses in UK, Europe, Africa, Middle East, South East Asia and beyond.

Key Attributes

A good knowledge of Cantonese and Mandarin languages, both written and spoken

An ability to distinguish between other Chinese and Asian languages eg Hokkien, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Malay etc

A deep and detailed knowledge of Asian music, both very current and back-catalogue pop music (Particularly Mandopop, Cantopop but also K-Pop and J-Pop) as well as more traditional Chinese music including festive music

The ability to source music from the above styles, including very current releases that are charting in those regions

Understanding appropriate music for different settings and times of day

An ability to understand lyrics and their cultural implications, eg being able to determine appropriate and inappropriate songs for different settings

Extremely high attention to detail

The ability to work to strict deadlines

An understanding of music file formats

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

A professional, diligent and conscientious approach to your work
