Music Concierge, the award-winning music consultancy for boutique hotels, luxury brands, restaurant and bars, is looking for a Studio Manager to join our small but expanding creative team.
Managing the creative team’s resources, ensuring music projects and playlists are delivered to the client on brief, on time and on budget.
Analyse and report on resource management and efficiency improvements and present these to senior management.
Identifying ways to improve workflow, productivity and efficiencies, while maintaining our high standards of quality.
Communicating regularly with the Bookings Coordinator, reviewing the music team’s weekly work schedules and ensuring all work is scheduled and delivered on time.
Managing the recruitment, training and development across the department as required, motivating colleagues to deliver high quality work on a consistent basis.
Line managing five direct reports: three playlist designers, one music team assistant and one audio assistant.
Ensuring the music team are maintaining the music library in line with our creative needs and it is regularly updated with suitable music content.
Project managing music related efficiency and technology projects for the music team.
Problem solving through issues as they arise.
Dealing with amendments requested by clients that are escalated to you.
Designing and delivering your own playlists which perfectly match the client brief, although prior experience of playlist design is not essential.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise and oversee multiple projects at once.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and ensure deadlines are met.
A natural problem solver.

A professional, diligent and conscientious approach to your work.
An understanding of the different types of our hospitality, F&B and retail clients.
A passion for music across a variety of genres and having a good ear for music is preferable.
Proven experience of managing efficient teams in a creative studio or music based environment.
Proven experience of overseeing the fulfilment and quality control of creative work.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a creative industry.
Educated to degree level.
This position is full-time and based at our parent company’s Grade II listed headquarters in Hertfordshire. You’ll be surrounded by beautiful countryside so the ability to drive would be the easiest way of getting to work. We will only accept applicants who live nearby, or in North London.
Salary in the region of £28-34k, dependent on experience.
